And Now, Ladies and Gentlemen, Meet the Evangelist

After requesting a design from their fans, The Gorillaz' newest band member, "The Evangelist," appeared in their cartoon world today. Fan site member jirouta's drawing was selected and redrawn by band member Jamie Hewlett resulting in a very intriguing character.

    I, personally, was rather upset with the production of the Gorillaz' latest album. "Demon Days" was, in my opinion, the clear best, with the self-titled "Gorillaz" bringing up second place. Their main hit, "Feel Good, Inc" was of a totally and completely different style than any of the work on the newest album, and while I can't fault a band for moving in a direction which they feel is most appropriate, I did not enjoy the latest effort.
